You May be Required to Contact the U.S. Embassy Overseas Regarding DNA Testing

You May be Required to Contact the U.S. Embassy Overseas Regarding DNA Testing

If you have completed an immigration application with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services department for a relative living overseas, it may be your responsibility to contact the U.S. embassy in that country regarding DNA testing.

In many cases, DNA testing is required to complete the immigration visa application. This process is used to document and prove that there is a legitimate familial relationship between the applicant and the U.S. citizen.

Depending on where your relative lives, there may be agencies in their home country that are acceptable to the USCIS. If there are none, it will be your responsibility to contact the U.S. embassy in that country to arrange the international DNA testing as well as proper handling and shipping of the sample.

In order to find the U.S. embassy in your relative’s country, visit www.uscis.gove/portal/site/uscis. You may also find this information at www.usembassy.gov. If you want to find out if there are acceptable agencies in this country, you can generally find a list through a legitimate DNA testing facility in NYC.Best DNA Testing NYC2. jpeg

If you have any questions, contact AABB DNA Testing and we’ll be more than happy to assist.

What Legal Rights Do You Have When it Comes to Paternity DNA Testing?

What Legal Rights Do You Have When it Comes to Paternity DNA Testing?

Have you been required to take part in a paternity DNA testing procedure? No matter whether you are the alleged biological mother or father, you have certain inalienable legal rights with regard to paternity testing. No matter whether you are willing to partake in the tests, initiated them, or are unsure what to do, you should aware of your legal rights.

Not only can the cost of paternity tests be prohibitive to some individuals, but the process can be deemed as intrusive. At AABB DNA Testing, we aim to help keep your costs down and to help you understand your legal rights and obligations.

Child support and legal responsibility for the child in question are two of the most common questions that people have with regard to paternity DNA testing. In order to learn about these topics and other issues, you can also review some frequently asked questions about paternity rights at www.courts.state.ny.us/courts/nyc/family/faqs_paternity.shmtl.

Paternity tests are a major legal consideration and we want all of our clients, and potential clients, to understand those rights so that they have the proper information at their disposal moving forward.

If you have any preliminary questions about the cost and process of paternity DNA testing, please contact AABB DNA Testing today.

The Length of Time for the DNA Testing Process to Complete for Immigration Purposes Varies

The Length of Time for the DNA Testing Process to Complete for Immigration Purposes Varies

It is impossible to provide an accurate date when the DNA testing process for immigration applications would be completed. Some DNA testing services in New York City will boast that they can offer guaranteed delivery dates when it comes to immigration DNA tests, but due to the nature of international agencies, U.S. embassies, and handling times, managing the time it takes to receive the samples from abroad is beyond the control of the facilities that conduct DNA testing in New York City.

AABB DNA Testing is committed to providing the best service and most accurate results, but also to be completely forthright and honest regarding the process. Each client and immigration visa application with vary, just as each country that the subjects reside in will vary.

We have found that immigration DNA tests involving up to 17 family members take as little as three weeks while tests involving just two to three members drag on for months. There are a number of factors that go into determining how long it will take to complete immigration DNA tests, including shipping method, the type of agency collecting the DNA samples in the foreign country, and how long the U.S. embassy in that country holds the sample, if they do.

Each case will vary, so it’s important to make sure that you begin the DNA testing process as quickly as possible when starting your visa application to ensure timely results.

We are committed to helping every client expedite the process and whether you choose us or another facility, we believe you deserve the upfront truth about timeframes. Any company that guarantees results within a specified timeframe simply is misleading you.

To learn more about the DNA testing process and timing, please contact AABB DNA Testing today.
